Let us take you on a little journey through time and show you a few milestones that have significantly influenced our life as well as Hotel Luggi.

1981

The foundation for a guesthouse on the parental property was laid. With a lot of personal contribution and neighborly help, we were able to open the guesthouse with 18 beds just a year later.

1981

1990 to 1996

Additional conversions and extensions followed, as well as improvements to the comfort of the rooms and the construction of a private apartment for the family.

1990 to 1996

December 8, 1999

Thanks to ambitious companies and numerous helpers, we were able to get up and running again after just 6 months of rebuilding. We weren’t allowed to build the igloo again. Instead, we built a pyramid as the new après-ski bar.

2020

This year we started with the construction of Ludwig’s Bar. At the same time, the rooms and the entire entrance area were renovated and now exude a touch of splendor.

2020

2020 was an exciting year in general, as it was time for a breath of fresh air and also for the next generation to step in. Helene and Luggi handed over their business to their daughter Marina, who continues to run Hotel Luggi with passion and dedication.

The pyramid also had to make way in the meantime. There are always changes to come and we have learned to make the best of them. But one thing will never change: our passion for being hosts. Hotel Luggi is a place for happy memories and exciting encounters. Strangers become friends here. We look forward to welcoming you to our hotel in Galtür soon, Marina and the entire Luggi team
